2021 Male Clyde Lamb Award Winner - Men's Soccer's Ian Molftenter

WILMINGTON, Ohio - Ian Molfenter, a senior on the Wilmington College men's soccer team, is the College's Male Clyde Lamb Award winner for the 2020-21 academic year.

Molfenter is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and a graduate of Dayton Carroll High School. A three-year member of the program, Ian came to Wilmington College after a year at both Ohio Wesleyan University and Wright State University. A starter of 46 games in his Quaker career, Molfenter is a two-time First-Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) selection who has scored 16 goals and dished out five assists for a total 37 career points.

During the 2021 spring season, Molfenter was one of two Quakers to tally double digits in points with four goals and two assists for 10 total points. One of those four goals was the opening goal of Wilmington's 2-1 OAC Tournament victory against Capital University, the program's postseason win in 15 seasons.

A sport management major with a 3.42 cumulative grade point average, Ian has been a consistent member of Wilmington's Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Congratulations, Ian – Wilmington College's Male Clyde Lamb Award winner for the 2020-21 academic year!
