Women's Track & Field Honored by USTFCCCA

USTFCCCA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMS

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – The Wilmington College women's track & field team garnered the All-Academic Team Award, handed out by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) on Thursday.

In order to be named an All-Academic Team, squads must carry a cumulative team grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent academic term. Through the 2020 spring semester, the Fightin' Quaker women had a 3.27 cumulative GPA.

Wilmington finished the 2020 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships in ninth place. The outdoor season was unfortunately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
