Six Scoring Performances for Women's Track & Field at Cedarville

RESULTS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's track & field team tallied six scoring performances at the Cedarville Indoor Invitational hosted by Cedarville University on Friday evening.

The Fightin' Quakers had two relays score and used the same squad in both events. Emma Burke, Sidney Fields, Cheyenne Rhodes and Miranda Gibson took third place in the 4-x-200-meter relay by cross the finish line in 1:53.01 and finished fourth with a mark of 4:21.78 in the 4-x-400-meter relay. Milena Wahl was the other individual to score points for the team with her time of 5:29.69 in the mile run.

In field events, Kayli Sullivan's heave of 46' 8 3/4" earned her a sixth-place finish in the weight throw. Additionally, Jenna Henneman's mark of 9' 3 3/4"in the pole vault and Madison Dietz's leap of 46' 8 3/4" in the triple jump both scored a point for Wilmington.

As a a team, the Quakers tallied 18 points to finish 10th-of-16 in a field of NCAA Division I, II and III opponents along with several NAIA institutions. Wilmington was the top NCAA Division III school to place.

The Quakers are in action next at the Indoor All-Ohio Meet hosted by Otterbein University on Saturday, Feb. 15.
