TIFFIN, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's cross country team took second-place with 33 points at the Tiffelberg Open on Friday evening. Co-host, Tiffin University, edged out the Quakers for first place after snagging 28 points, five better than the Quakers. Heidelberg University finished the meet in third with Bluffton University took fourth place.

Noah Tobin had his first moment of glory this season as the third-year runner finished first place for the fourth time. Tobin's last win ironically came at the Tiffelberg Open during the 2022 track season. His 24:59 finish cracks him into the sub-25 club in the 8,000-meter run, as well as puts him at number-two all time for the 8-kilometer in Wilmington College history. George Rickett finished second for the squad and fourth overall with a huge personal-best time of 25:27. Eric Reynolds, also with a huge personal best, claimed fifth with a 25:57.

After a hot start to the season, the Quakers will head to Cedarville for the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships.
