Men's Cross Country Faces off at Tiffelberg Open

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's cross country team enters week two coming off a fifth place finish as the only Division III team in the race last weekend. This week the Quakers head to Tiffin, Ohio for the Tiffelberg Open. 

The Race: The 8,000-meter race will take place in the evening.

The Teams: The Quakers will be joined by a slew of mixed division talent.

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 27th season as head cross country coach at Wilmington College. A 1993 graduate of Wilmington, Combs was a member of the only cross country team to win a conference title in school history. Also the head track & field coach at the College, Combs led the Fightin' Quakers to two top-10 finishes nationally with a sixth place finish at the 2002 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships and a seventh place mark at the 2004 Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The Squad: Noah Tobin will look to head the squad after a great week one performance. Eric Reynolds finished in the top three for the Quakers last week and George Rickett will stay close as he continues his senior season. The freshman duo of Tate Yoder and Jackson Nagle round out the squad.
