WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College Men's track and field team will continue its 2021 season, traveling to Capital University for the third time this season for an indoor meet on Sunday.

The Schedule:  Field Events kick off at 11:00 AM followed by the track events starting at 1:00 PM.   

The Teams:  Wilmington will be joined by host Capital University and Ohio Northern University.  

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch:  Simon Heys, a week after breaking the school record in the 3000-meter run, will be running in the 800-meter run.  Anthony Gilmore, currently ranked in the top ten in high jump in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), will be competing in the high jump and triple jump.  Blake Jamison, ranked in the top five in shot put in the OAC, will be throwing in the weight throw and shot put.
