Men's Swimming Kicks Off 2021-22 Campaign at Baldwin Wallace Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team opens the 2021-22 season this Saturday with an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) meet at Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday. Events are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The Coaches: Trip Breen is in his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season. Laura Demaline has been Baldwin Wallace's head coach for over a decade.

Who to Watch: Cameron Bolen, once named the OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week last season, returns for his sophomore campaign and will compete in breaststroke and freestyle events along with a couple of relays. Dane Klosterman and Michael Phillippe, also sophomores, are looking to build on solid performances at the OAC Championships to conclude last season. Both are backstrokers with Klosterman also swimming in freestyle events and Phillippe in the IM.
