Men's Swimming Heads to Akron for Four-Day OAC Championships

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team heads to the 2022 OAC Swimming and Diving Championships, a four-day event from Feb. 16-19, this week. The championships, held at Akron University's Ocasek Natatorium, begins with relays on Wedneday night and concludes with a championship evening session on Saturday.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season. Tanner Barton is in his second season as JCU's head swimming & diving coach having led both teams to the conference title last year.

Who to Watch: The following individuals have Wilmington's fastest times in events and are slated to swim them this weekend. A complete list of those swimming for WC can be found at the psych sheets above.
