Men's Swimming Welcomes JCU for Senior Day Meet on Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team hosts its final regular season dual on Saturday before tapering for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships in February. John Carroll University comes to the WC Natatorium for a 1 p.m. meet.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season. Tanner Barton is in his second season as JCU's head swimming & diving coach having led both teams to the conference title last year.

Who to Watch: The following individuals have Wilmington's fastest times in events and are slated to swim them this weekend:

Senior Day: The meet marks the final home contest for two seniors - Aaron Polk and Sha'bhir Thompkins. A brief ceremony will be held prior to the meet. 

Limited Spectators: The game is opened to a limited number of spectators - four individuals per WC student-athlete and a 50-person pass list for visiting teams
