Men's Swimming Heads to John Carroll on Friday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's swimming team is back in the pool on Friday evening with an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) dual meet at John Carroll University. Events are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

The Coaches: Trip Breen is in his 22nd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season. Tanner Barton, a graduate of Ball State University, is in his first season as John Carroll's head swimming and diving coach.

Who to Watch: Michael Phillippe, who won his first collegiate event (200-meter IM) against the University of Mount Union last weekend, will compete in the event again alongside teammate Ian Darras, who took second in the 200-meter backstroke. Logan Schroer and Samuel Shanes will compete in freestyle events while Dane Klosterman will compete in breaststroke events.
