WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College football team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play with a road contest at Muskingum University on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m.
The Teams: Wilmington and Muskingum. The Fightin' Quakers are 1-2 overall and 1-1 in OAC play after a thrilling 42-38 victory over Ohio Northern University last weekend. The Fighting Muskies are also 1-2 on the season, but winless in conference competition after a 31-25 defeat at Marietta College on Saturday.
The Coaches: Bryan Moore, a 1999 graduate of Hiram College, begins his third season leading Wilmington's football program. Moore began instilling his vision on the program having brought in two large freshman classes. He has three victories over Earlham College and snapped a 40-game OAC losing streak by defeating Capital University in his first season. More recently, the Quakers defeating Ohio Northern for the first time since 1956 on Sept. 21. Previously, Moore spent time at both Bluffton University and Heidelberg. Erik lueter, formerly the offensive coordinator at Michigan Tech, is in his second season at Muskingum's head coach.
The Offense: Kyle Barrett leads both Wilmington and the OAC in passing yardage per game at 317.0 yards per game. He's also thrown six touchdowns and has a quarterback efficiency rating of 147.1. Gino Hinton Jr., who rushed for over 100 yards in the victory over Ohio Northern, has 183 yards rushing. The Quakers have perhaps one of the best receiving cores as both Luke Richardson and Itika Wynn, Jr. are in the top five in the OAC in yards per game. Richardson has caught a dozen passes for 329 yards (27.4 yards per catch) while Wynn Jr. and Ace Taylor have hauled in over 20 receptions. Brody Hahn lead the Muskingum offense with 441 yards passing and is second on the team in rushing with 182 yards. Bernard Johnson averages 63.0 rushing yards per game.
The Defense: Tre'Quez Parks, who had two sacks against Ohio Northern, leads the Wilmington defense with 35 tackles. Ameer Jackson, who is second on the squad in total tackles, has a team-best 19 solo wrap-ups. Parks and Dusty Lykins have accounted for the Quakers' interceptions while Tavion Bryant has seven tackles for loss. Nehemiah Bowie leads the Muskingum defense with 28 tackles while Tim Ousley has a team-best three sacks.

OAC Players of the Week: Both Kyle Barrett (offensive) and Tre'Quez Parks (defensive) were named as OAC Football Players of the Week.
