(NEW CONCORD, Ohio) – It was the first day of the 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Wilmington College women's track & field team sits sixth out of 10 teams with 10 points after seven events.

Leading the Quakers on day one was Haley Cook, who competed in the 400 Meter Dash in her lone individual event of the afternoon. She finished in fourth place with a time of 59.67 seconds to score five points for the Quakers. This is a personal best time for Cook, as she finished under a minute for the first time. This time is also a new program record, just edging out Emily Herring's 59.70 that she ran in 2003.

Also scoring for the Quakers during the day was the Distance Medley Relay team of Meghan Cory, Cook, Hayden Setty, and Faith Duncan. The team finished fourth with a time of 12:46.95 to come in fourth place for five points. This destroyed the team's time from January 20th at Mount St. Joseph University, where they ran a 13:02.63. This is a new program record in the DMR, taking down the team of Kelsey Stief, Krystal Taylor, Anna Foote, and Annie Cekada, who ran a 12:51.18 in 2010.
