WILMINGTON, Ohio - Wilmington College men's soccer senior Yusef Muqtadir has earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors as the organization revealed its men's soccer All-District teams on Thursday.
Honorees blend both athletic achievement with performance in the classroom, and Muqtadir has excelled at both. The Dayton, Ohio, native carries a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade-point average as a business administration and accounting double major. On the field, Muqtadir, who garnered All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors for the second consecutive season including First Team recognition this season. Muqtadir led a potent Fightin' Quaker offense with nine goals scored and 22 total points.
Wilmington finished its 2021 fall season with a 12-3-3 overall record including a 5-2-2 mark in OAC competition. For the second consecutive season, the Quakers earned the No. 3 seed for the OAC Tournament and hosted a quarterfinal at Williams Stadium.
