LIVE RESULTS

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's track and field team will travel to Otterbein University Friday to participate in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) South Split Meet.

The Teams: Wilmington will be joined by OAC host Otterbein and fellow OAC schools Capital University, Muskingum University, and Marietta College.

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 17th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

WC Student-Athletes to Watch: Pierce Burnam is coming off a successful weekend at the Marietta Invitational. He finished first in the triple jump, and second in the 500-meter dash. As one of the top returning runners in the 500-meter dash, he'll look to keep his slot. AJ Hightower plays an integral role on the relays for the Fightin' Quakers. Hightower is also currently ranked second in the OAC for long jump. Wil Overholt holds down the distance events for the Quakers while Kalvin Butts, Joe Holcomb, and Josh Miller find success in the throwing events.
