Women's Swimming Completes First Night of OAC Championships

(AKRON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's swimming team competed in the first night of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday night.

The lone event that was swam was the finals of the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, where the Quakers finished in fifth place with a time of 8:55.75. The team of freshman Courtney Getter, senior Audrey Bibb, junior Adrienne Reynek, and freshman Alaina Reynek competed for Wilmington. The quickest 200 Yard Relay came from Bibb, who finished her leg with a time of 2:10.03.

The Quakers are currently competing in day two of OAC Championship action, with tonight's finals beginning at 6:30 P.M.
