Galloway named new @DubC_WLax coach

Wilmington College Vice President of Athletic Administration/Director of Athletics Terry Rupert has announced the hiring of BreAnne Galloway as the school's new women's lacrosse coach today (November 8, 2016).

"BreAnne brings an enthusiasm to the sport of lacrosse and to coaching, and we are looking forward to watching the program grow under her tutelage," said Rupert. "I was like to thank the search committee for their time and effort in helping us secure the next women's lacrosse coach."

Galloway becomes the second head coach in school history, succeeding Brett Yenger, who resigned late in the summer.  She takes over a program that has recorded a 5-52 record in four years, but was 5-27 in the last two seasons.

Galloway has impressive playing credentials with back-to-back National Junior College Athletic Association National Titles to her resume.

She comes to Wilmington after helping George Mason High School place second in the state of Virginia in 2016.  The Mustangs were the 2015 regional runners-up as well.

She graduated from the College at Brockport State University of New York with a Physical Education degree in 2013.
