Men's Track & Field Tallies Two All-OAC Honorees on Final Day of OAC Championships

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track & field team tallied two All-Conference performances on the final day of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Outdoor Championships hosted by Otterbein University on Saturday.

The Fightin' Quakers' 4-x-400-meter relay squad of Luke Richardson, Elliot Phillimore, Adam Knaub and Colin Myers took third place with a time of 3:22.25 to finish less than a second behind the runners-up from the University of Mount Union. Richardson, Myers and and Knaub teamed up with Aaron Koch to finish fourth (43.71 seconds) in the 4-x-100-meter relay. 

Myers completed his second All-OAC honor of the day with a career-best leap of 42' 11 3/4" in the triple jump that earned his runner-up honors. Richardson also competed in the event and came less than two inches from scoring (41' 3 1/4"). Myers also earned the Quakers points with a sixth-place mark of 6' 3 1/4" in the high jump.

As a team, Wilmington placed seventh with 30 points, finishing two points ahead of both Capital University and Marietta College. Mount Union claimed the OAC title with 197 points.

The Quakers head to the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central College on May 9-10.
