WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. game at Muskingum University.

The Teams: Wilmington (2- 8 overall) and Muskingum (4-7 overall). Both teams are 0- 4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, as we continue conference play. Both teams are also 0-2 so far in the month of April and hungry for a first win in the OAC. The Muskies are coming off back-to-back losses to the University of Mount Union (4-0 in the OAC) and Ohio Northern University (4-0 in the OAC). 

The Coaches: Jeff Arneson is in his second year leading the Wilmington men's lacrosse program. Prior to leading the Quakers to a 5-9 record last season, Arneson, a Wilmington High School alumnus, spent six seasons as head coach at Thiel College (Pennsylvania).  Alec Chisholm, the head coach for Muskingum, is also in his second year coming from Oberlin College Chisholm is still looking for his first conference win after going 0-8 in the OAC in his first season.

The players: Connor Judge still leads the team with 23 goals scored for the Quakers with seven assists and 30 points as we approach the midpoint of the season. Jadon Flannery and Andrew Miller are rallying behind Judge as they continue to increase their numbers, combining for 27 goals and 12 assists. Josh Fletcher leads the way for the Muskies with his 25 goals, 15 assists and 40 points. He is accompanied by Ryan Stacey and Tucker Hass as the two have combined for 40 goals and 13 assists.

Recent History: Wilmington is 4-0 all-time against Muskingum in program history. The Quakers won 23-10 the last time the two teams played in New Concord (April 30, 2017). More information on the series history can be viewed by visiting the link above.
