WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's basketball team hosts Capital University on Wednesday evening for the final regular season home game at Fred Raizk Arena this season. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Capital. The Fightin' Quakers are 16-6 overall and sit 12-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) after defeating No. 11 Marietta College 68-62 on Saturday. The Crusaders, who clinched a share of the OAC regular season title with an 81-76 win over Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday, are 19-4 overall and 14-2 in conference play.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt is in his 12th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Damon Goodwin has been Capital's head coach for 23 seasons. The Crusaders have claimed seven OAC titles under his leadership.

The Players: A trio of Quakers – DaeShawn Jackson, Kevin Lewis and Will Patrick – all score in double figures including Jackson as the leader at 15.5 points per game. Lewis, the team's leader in rebounding at 5.5 boards per game, scores 14.5 points per game along with stealing two passes per contest, one of the top marks in the OAC in that category. Patrick contributes over a dozen points off the bench. Four Crusader seniors – Austin Schreck, Joey Weingartner, Caleb Cox and Will Hannah – all score double figures for Capital. Cox averages a double-double by scoring 15.1 points and grabbing 10.4 rebounds per game.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game - Wilmington 80.0, Capital 81.9; opponents points per game - Wilmington 75.5, Capital 69.3; field goal percentage - Wilmington 43.0, Capital 48.8; three point percentage - Wilmington 36.3, Capital 36.3; free throw percentage - Wilmington 70.4, Capital 76.3; rebounds per game - Wilmington 36.8, Capital 38.6; assist-to-turnover ratio - Wilmington 1.00, Capital 1.21.

Recent History: Wilmington is 15-28 against Capital since becoming an NCAA Division III member prior to the 1991-92 season. The Crusaders claimed a 75-62 win over the Quakers in Bexley earlier this season. More information on the series history can be viewed at the link above.

Senior Night: The game marks the final regular season home game for four seniors – Trent Gilmore, Kevin Lewis, Will Patrick and Andrew Russell. A brief ceremony will be held prior to the game.

NCAA Regional Rankings: Capital (No. 4) and Wilmington (No. 8) both appeared in the first NCAA Great Lakes Regional rankings.
