Seven-run inning too much to overcome

CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – The Wilmington College baseball team allowed 11 runs in the final two innings of the game, falling to Thomas More 11-1 in non-conference action Monday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Wilmington took the early lead on an RBI single by senior Corey Walker (Hillsboro, OH/Hillsboro), scoring freshman Gage Bley (Harrison, OH/Harrison). Bley opened the inning with a single.
  • Walker went 2-for-3 in accounting for two of Wilmington's three hits.
