RICHMOND, IN – The Wilmington College baseball team scored the first three runs of the game, but Earlham scored in every inning as the Fightin' Quakers fell 19-3 Wednesday in non-conference action at Sadler Stadium
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Freshman Gage Bley (Harrison, OH/Harrison) got the scoring going with a two-out, two-run double in the top of the first inning. He came around to score on an error.
- Bley finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored as he extended his hitting streak to five games.
- Senior Tyler Schrock (Waynesville, OH/Waynesville) went 2-for-5 with a run scored, and has now hit in eight of the last 10 games.
- Sophomore Kyle Short (Trenton, OH/Edgewood) had his first multi-hit game of the season with two singles in four at-bats.
- Freshman Jarett Trautman, 1-4, (Hartville, OH/Field) allowed six earned runs on seven hits in two innings.
