(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's volleyball team dropped their contest against the Muskingum University Fighting Muskies Wednesday night on Hermann Court, 3-0. The Quakers drop to 9-14 overall this season and 1-7 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Wilmington exploded out to an 18-10 lead in the first set. The Quakers were led by a pair of Victoria Long and Kieran Yarkosky kills to help gain this advantage. However, the Muskies would storm all the way back with a 10-2 run to tie the set at 20-20. The Muskies would continue their momentum towards a 25-21 set one win to take a 1-0 match lead.
The Quakers dropped set two 25-15, as Josie Crabtree led Wilmington in the set with two kills. The Muskies won the match 3-0 after taking set three, 25-13. Sarah Brown had two kills for the Quakers during the final set.
