CARLISLE, PA - The Wilmington College Men's Cross Country team finished ninth out of twenty teams in the Dickinson Long Short Invitational.

"I was very happy with how the men performed today," said Ron Combs, Wilmington's head coach. "I thought the twins ran very well as our one and two runners. They were within fifteen seconds of what Pat Carroll ran on this course for the 4k distance. I like the improvement we've shown since Heidelberg and I'm excited to see where we fit in the OAC mix Friday at All Ohio."

For the first time this season, Hunter Stith (Batavia, OH/Batavia) was the first Wilmington runner to finish for Wilmington. He placed 37th overall, finishing in 13:07.62. Following him was his brother, Griffin Stith (Batavia, OH/Batavia), finishing only three seconds behind at 13:10.15, placing 39th overall.

Finishing next, in 47th place, for the Fightin' Quakers was Rick Pride (Mount Orab, OH/Western Brown) with a time of 13:29:00. Placing 52nd with a time of 13:38.99 was Dominic King (Bettsville, OH/Bettsville) and the last WC to runner to score was Matt Baker (Liberty Center, OH/Liberty Center) with a time of 13:47.38.

Wilmington returns to action 2 p.m. Friday in the 2015 All-Ohio Cross Country Championships, hosted by Cedarville University.
