Bolen Garners All-OAC Honors for Men's Swimming at OAC Championships

RESULTS THROUGH DAY THREE

AKRON, Ohio - Cameron Bolen earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors to highlight the Wilmington College men's swimming team's performance on day three of the OAC Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Akron's Ocasek Natatorium on Friday evening.

Bolen swum a time of 57.86 seconds in the championship final of the 100-yard breaststroke to garner the All-Conference honor as well as earn his team 16 points. Jonah Venos of John Carroll University won the event with an NCAA B-Cut time of 54.33 seconds. 

Bolen wasn't the only Quaker to appear in a championship final as Sondrew Hauge, who took runner-up in the morning preliminaries, touched the wall in 1:42.83 for a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle. Austin Reed won the consolation final of the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.46.

In the 200-yard medley relay, the WC squad of John Good, Bolen, Haugen and Reed placed fifth a time of 1:36.79. As a team, the Quakers are in fifth place with 200 points. The defending champion Blue Streaks are leading the conference with 632 points.

The final day of the championships (Saturday) begins with prelims at 10 a.m.
