(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – For the second time in the last three weeks, Quakers catcher Samantha Schwab is your Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Softball Athlete of the Week. This is the second time in her career that Schwab has been recognized for her outstanding effort on the field.

Schwab went 8-18 last week over six games for the Quakers. She had four extra base hits, with three homeruns and a double. All three homeruns came in the Quakers doubleheader sweep over Earlham College last Wednesday. Schwab hit two homeruns in the first game and one in the second contest. During the week, she drove in 13 runs, scored six runs, and walked twice. The Quakers, as a team during the week, went 3-2-1 overall and are now 10-7-1 this season.

Wilmington's next games are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in New Concord, Ohio against OAC opponent Muskingum University. Their doubleheader begins at 3:00 P.M.
