WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Wilmington College softball junior Lindsey Carter has been named Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) as the league unveiled its postseason awards on Tuesday, May 16.
Carter, who graduated from WC with a degree in exercise science in three years, was one of the team's leaders in batting average at a .376 clip while also tallying 44 hits, two triples and two home runs. She drove in 16 runs, stole a Quaker-best 11 bases and carried a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage playing primarily left field. In conference games only, Carter carried a .314 batting average with two four doubles, two home runs and five stolen bases.
Wilmington finished its 2023 season with a 16-21 overall recording including a 3-15 mark in league games.
