Four Quakers Compete at Saturday's Mount Union Last Chance Meet

(ALLIANCE, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's track & field team competed at the unscored Mount Union Last Chance Meet Saturday afternoon, hosted by the University of Mount Union. Simon Heys, Brady Vilvens, Justin Shuga, and Jarrett Durr all competed for the Quakers this afternoon.

Heys ran the Mile for Wilmington and finished second with a season-best time of 4:12.54. Brady Vilvens finished second in the High Jump with a clearance of 1.94m. Vilvens cleared the height on his second attempt, while winner Christian Pfeiffer of Baldwin Wallace University cleared it on his first try to earn the victory. They both failed at 1.99m.

Durr was second in the Weight Throw with a mark of 18.46m on his third attempt, while Shuga was fourth at 17.98m on his third attempt.

What's Up Next

Nathen Borgan and Jarrett Durr are set to represent the Quakers in the Weight Throw at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships next weekend. The event takes place on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M.
