Wilmington College men's track and field alumnus Pierce Burnam has been featured in a article from his hometown newspaper, The Clermont Sun, on finishing his Fightin' Quaker career with All-American honors.
Academic All-Conference selections have at least a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average (GPA) at the end of the semester preceding the end of the fall season. The student-athlete must also be a member of a varsity team as well as be enrolled in a full-time capacity.

CINCINNATI, Ohio- The Wilmington men’s track and field team traveled to the Mount Saint Joseph Invitational hosted by Mount Saint Joseph University on Saturday. The Fightin’ Quakers came out ahead of all the other teams competing, even without two of their top team members. The Quakers finished first of six teams with 202.2 points.
WILMINGTON, Ohio- The Wilmington College men’s outdoor track and field team will compete in two locations this weekend. The majority of the team will head to the Mount Saint Joseph Invitational hosted by Mount Saint Joseph University on Saturday, April 21. Competition is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
Kalvin Butts will be representing the Fightin’ Quakers at the Jesse Owens Classic hosted by Ohio State University on Friday while Antone Truss and Pierce Burnam will represent the Quakers at that location on Saturday. Competition for this event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on Friday and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

DELAWARE, Ohio- The Wilmington College men’s track and field team traveled to the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday. Of the 19 competing teams, the Fightin’ Quakers finished ninth with 38 points.
WILMINGTON, Ohio- The Wilmington College men’s outdoor track and field team will host the Jenna Strong Invitational on Saturday, April 7. This meet honors fallen teammate Jenna Parlette who collapsed while in the lead of a cross country race her junior year (2013). All teams, participants, and spectators are invited to wear purple in memory and honor of Jenna and to promote Epilepsy awareness.
Field events are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and track events at 1 p.m.
