WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College football team concludes its 2021 fall season with a trip to Columbus for a Saturday night game with Otterbein University. Kickoff, which was moved due to the Cardinals hosting an NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament regional, is slated for 6 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Otterbein. The Fightin' Quakers are 1-8 on the season and looking to end the year on a winning streak after clipping Capital University 24-21 over the weekend. The Cardinals are also 1-8 on the season and also have a win over Capital.

The Coaches: Bryan Moore, a 1999 graduate of Hiram College, begins his fifth season leading Wilmington's football program. Moore began instilling his vision on the program having brought in three large freshman classes, and that has paid off on the field with multiple victories each of the last two seasons. Previously, Moore spent time at both Bluffton University and Heidelberg. Tim Doup, a 1992 Otterbein alumnus, is in his 10th season as the Cardinals' head coach. Otterbein has won 39 games in his tenure.

The Offenses: Derek Larimer quarterbacks the Wilmington offense and averages nearly 200 yards per game with eight touchdowns and an efficiency rating of 116.7. Itika Wynn Jr. has hauled in 45 receptions for 620 yards and four scores while a trio of Quakers - Dallas Rawlings, Ben Hobbs and Tyreeq Nebbitt - have all carried over 50 times and average nearly 30 yards per game. Bryce Hall averages 236 yards passing quarterbacking the Otterbein offense and has an even dozen touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Siraj Muhammad has carried 132 times and averages 85 yards on the ground.

The Defenses: Tre'Quez Parks leads Wilmington in total tackles (77) and tackles per game (11.0) while Jarod Lee and Xzerious Stinnett are the other two Quakers to tally at least 40 tackles. Tavion Bryant, Brandon Weaver and Brandon Lemley join Parks to have over two sacks on the season. Quentin Davis and Elijah Carson have two interceptions on the season. Greg Nolder has 74 tackles for the Cardinal defense while Nick Cipriano has a team-best 3.5 sacks.
