In the loss to the Yellow Jackets, Shadrach Brausch earned a Quakers' win in a 3-1 decision today over Baldwin Wallace's Andrew Levis in the 285-pound weight class. The Quakers and Yellow Jackets also decided to add an extra varsity match for all weight classes, where Blair (165-pound weight class) and Brausch (285-pound weight class) both pinned their opponents for wins. Avery Bair (Wilmington) over Luke Hopkins (Baldwin Wallace) (Fall 0:52) and Shadrach Brausch (Wilmington) over Dominic Shelley of Baldwin Wallace (Fall 3:27)

"We wrestled well against a quality team," Head Wrestling Coach Justin Kihn said. "The guys have shown their ability to learn fast and improve over a short period of time. We are getting better every time we step on the mat. Shadrach [Brausch] had a great day today with two wins and one of them being a pin. He works hard and has a great approach to the sport. It is exciting to see him develop. Avery [Bair] also had a great performance today. He has seen high level competition these first two weeks. He had a great match against a tough opponent in the first round, then was able to pick up his first collegiate win with a pin in the second round."

Wilmington's next meet will be Saturday, February 6, against Otterbein, Muskingum, and Ohio Northern in Ada.
