ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Wilmington College wrestling team competed in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Duals this weekend hosted by University of Mount Union. The Fightin' Quakers had three individuals competing in various weight classes, however, did not post any victories.
No. 11 Mount Union ran away with a landslide victory posting wins over each of the OAC opponents including a 28-12 victory over No. 22 John Carroll University, leaving the Purple Raiders 3-0 in OAC competition and sole lead of first place in the conference.
The Quakers return to the mat February 8, as they head to Berea, Ohio, for the John Summa Invitational.
