Berea, Ohio – The Wilmington College wrestling team competed in the John Summa Invitational over the weekend.

Two Fightin' Quakerss, freshman Adrian Salamone (141-pound weight class) and sophomore, Patrick Kelley (157-pound weight class), lost in the second round of their respective flights by fall. Both losses came at the hands of the eventual tournament champions in their perspective weight class. Kelley fell in 1:08 and Salamone was defeated in 0:43 in round two.

"The guys are showing signs of improvement in the positions we have been working on," Head Coach Justin Kihn said. "It was a good event to see before we go to regionals at the end of the month."

Both Salamone and Kelley will be competing as individuals once again in the NCAA Regionals in Adrian, Michigan on Feb. 28.
