2021 Fred Raizk Memorial Classic

After a year-long wait thanks to a season-altering COVID-19 pandemic, Wilmington College and its women's basketball program are happy to be hosted the 2021 Fred Raizk Memorial Classic at Hermann Court on Nov. 12-13. The Fightin' Quakers welcome two teams - Calvin University and DePauw University - that the program has hosted in NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament action at Fred Raizk Arena in the past. Alma College rounds out the four-team classic.

ABOUT FRED RAIZK - Fred Raizk, a 1936 Wilmington College alumnus, was a member of the football, basketball, baseball and track & field teams. He served as the College's director of athletics for 25 years and also coached numerous sports including football and men's golf. During his tenure, he also served as dean of men, professor of physical education as well as stints as president of both NAIA District No. 22 and the Hoosier-Buckeye Conference. His namesake is home to WC's basketball, wrestling and volleyball teams.
