WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball hosts John Carroll University for the final game of the 2018-19 regular season at Hermann Court on Saturday. Tip-off for the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest, which is also the Quakers' senior day, is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and John Carroll (JCU). The Quakers stand at 11-13 overall and 6-11 in OAC play after falling 74-53 at Capital University on Saturday. The Blue Streaks, who clinched the OAC regular season title outright, are 18-6 overall and 14-3 in conference play after defeating Otterbein University 71-67 on Wednesday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 29th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, won his 500th career game earlier this season. Wilmington has claimed seven regular season conference championships under his guidance. Kelly Morrone, a graduate of the University of South Carolina, is in her fifth season leading the JCU women's basketball program.

The Players: A trio of Quakers – McKayla Binkley, Kennedy Lewis and Mackenzie Campbell – all score in double figures with Binkley leading the team at 13.5 points per game. Lewis, one of the OAC leaders in assists at 4.2 per game, scores 12.0 points per contest while Campbell, who scored a season-high 20 points at Marietta last weekend, averages 10.2 points per game. Faith Teaford leads the rebounding department at 7.2 boards per contest. Nicole Heffington is JCU's top offensive threat as she scores 15.5 points and grabs 6.4 rebounds per contest.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 69.8, JCU 70.0; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 71.3, JCU 60.8; field goal percentage – Wilmington 40.3, JCU 41.6; three-point percentage – Wilmington 32.8, JCU 34.6; free throw percentage – Wilmington 73.6, JCU 60.4; rebounds per game – Wilmington 40.3, JCU 39.4; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.87, JCU 0.80.

Senior Day: The game marks the final regular season home game in the careers of four seniors – A.J. Arling, Mackenzie Campbell, Savannah Hooper ad Morgan Ritz. A brief ceremony will be held prior to the contest.

Recent History: Wilmington is 25-16 against JCU since joining the OAC prior to the 2000-01 season. The Blue Streaks claimed an 80-59 win the first time the teams met this season. More information on the series history can be found by visiting the link above.
