WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team looks to return to winning ways on Saturday as the Quakers host Muskingum University for a 7 p.m. contest at Hermann Court.

The Teams: Wilmington and Muskingum. The Quakers are 10-11 on the season and 5-9 in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) competition after a 78-74 overtime loss at the hands of Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday. The Fighting Muskies are 1-20 overall and winless in the OAC after an 86-72 defeat at Heidelberg University on Saturday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 29th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, won his 500th career game earlier this season. Wilmington has claimed seven regular season conference championships under his guidance. Beth Fox, the 1998 Bluffton University graduate, is in her 15th season as Muskingum's head coach.

The Players: McKayla Binkley and Kennedy Lewis both score in double figures for Wilmington including Binkley's 13.5 points per game. Lewis, who is second in the OAC in assists per game at 4.0, scored over a dozen points per contest. Kelly Noll, one of the best three-point shooters in the league, scores 9.7 points per game while Faith Teaford leads the rebounding effort at 7.5 boards per contest. Muskingum is led by the duo of Devyn Bonner and Emily Yeager as the two combine to score 24.6 points per game. Bonner also leads the Muskies in rebounding at 6.3 boards per contest.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 69.1, Muskingum 58.3; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 69.7, Muskingum 75.0; field goal percentage – Wilmington 41.2, Muskingum 33.9; three-point percentage – Wilmington 34.7, Muskingum 27.9; free throw percentage – Wilmington 72.8, Muskingum 63.6; rebounds per game – Wilmington 39.7, Muskingum 39.6; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.87, Muskingum 0.49.

Breast Cancer Awareness Game: Wilmington will be wearing pink to raise awareness for breast cancer.
