WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's basketball team heads into the final week of the 2020-21 regular season this weekend with a series against Heidelberg University.

The Schedule: Wilmington will head to Tiffin for a 7 p.m. contest on Friday evening and return to Fred Raizk Arena and host Heidelberg at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The Teams: Wilmington and Heidelberg. The Fightin' Quakers are 3-7 on the year after a split with Otterbein University over the weekend. The Student Princes are 7-2 on the year and also split a series over the weekend, with Ohio Northern University.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt is in his 14th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Andy Bucheit is in his eighth season as Heidelberg's head coach. The Student Princes finished with a .500 OAC record a season ago.

The Players: Jeffery Mansfield, a First Team All-OAC selection a season ago, leads Wilmington in scoring (17.7 points per game) as well as helping his teammates score to the tune of 6.2 assists per game. Bilal Sow averages 11.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while Noah Dado is the team's leading rebounder at 5.4 boards per contest. A trio of Student Princes – Dylan Woods, Emmanuel Perdue and Alex Arellano – all score in double figures. Woods, one of the top scorers in the OAC, averages just shy of 20 points per game.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 72.6, Heidelberg 73.0, opponents' points per game – Wilmington 78.2, Heidelberg 65.0 field goal percentage – Wilmington 45.6, Heidelberg 43.8; three-point percentage – Wilmington 34.1, Heidelberg 30.3; free throw percentage – Wilmington 69.1, Heidelberg 73.4; rebounds per game – Wilmington 32.0, Heidelberg 33.3; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 1.10, Heidelberg, 0.90.

Recent History: Wilmington is 20-24 against Otterbein since becoming a member of NCAA Division III in the early 1990s. The Quakers have won four of the last five meetings. More information on the series history can be viewed by visiting the link above.

Senior Night: Saturday's contest marks the final regular season home games in the careers of three individuals – Trey Kline, Jackson Todd and Brandon Cox.

COVID-19 Precautions: The OAC Presidents made the difficult decision to not allow any fans at athletic contests until at least March 5.
