The Wilmington College women's cross country team placed 29th of 37 teams in the 2015 JennaStrong Fall Classic Friday.

Miami University claimed the meet (102), followed by Ohio Dominican (169), Huntington (171), Hanover (199) and Wooster (218.)

Freshman Brooke Gibbons (Pleasant Plain, OH/Blanchester) was the top WC runner, placing 73rd (20:33.0). The next Wilmington runner was senior Mary Krebs (Kettering, OH/Archbishop Alter), who was 156th (21:57.1).

Junior Stephanie Fetters (West Milton, OH/Milton Union) placed 180th with the time of 22:52.1. The final two Wilmington scorers were freshman Alexis Rhodes (Old Fort, OH/Old Fort), who was 188th (23:29.3), and senior Julianna Simon (Covington, OH/Covington), who placed 206th (25:10.1).

Wilmington will have a week off before traveling to Berea for the Ohio Athletic Conference championships.
