PERSONAL: Sofia Thomas was born Dec. 10, 2001...the daughter of Quentin Thomas & Cynthia Aviles...four-year starter for Head Coach Michelle Papas at Boone County High School...Academic Honor Roll all four years...two-time All-District honoree...2019 Team Most Valuable Player...also member of swimming and track & field teams.

MAJOR: Business Management

Freshman Season (2021 SPRING): 

Appeared in all 16 matches in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic...spent time at both setter and outside hitter...dished out a team-best 168 assists for an average of 3.43 per set...put down 46 kills and averaged over two digs per set.

Sophomore Season (2021 FALL): 

Appeared in 27 matches with 85 sets played...tallied 194 kills a team best and 10th in a single season in Quaker history...tallied 184 digs, fourth on the team... averaged 2.28 kills and 2.16 digs per set. 

Junior Season (2022):

Played in 94 sets with 27 matches played as a junior...led the team in kils with 229 while hitting a .158 attack percentage...averaged 2.44 kills and 1.52 digs per set...notched double digits in kills on 13 occasions with a career-high of 17 kills in match against Marietta College on Oct. 14.

Senior Season (2023):

Appeared in all 24 matches and 88 sets for the Quakers…Tied for the team lead with 195 kills…Second on the team with 243 digs and 27 aces…Tied for second on the team with nine block solos…Had six double-doubles…Recorded 30 assists, 24 total blocks, and 15 block assists…Named Academic All-OAC.
