In a game that features contrasting styles, the Wilmington College women's basketball team hosts Heidelberg 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fred Raizk Arena in Hermann Court.

The Student Princes bring a post-centric offense in which 68.1 percent of the team's points are scored by post players, while Wilmington is getting 69.5 percent of their scoring from the perimeter.

Seniors Marisa Liburdi and junior Carli Patrick are scoring in double figures, and are second and third in the OAC, shooting 58.3 percent and 56.1 percent, respectively from the field.

Liburdi leads the team, and is sixth in the OAC, scoring 14.0 points per game, while Patrick is adding 10.9 points. Patrick is second in the OAC pulling down 9.5 rebounds, and Liburdi is sixth with 8.4 boards per game.

Behind the strength of Patrick and Liburdi, the Student Princes are second in the OAC in rebounding margin - outrebounding opponents by 10.9 boards per game.

Junior Theresa Jackson is coming off the bench to add 10.5 points per game and 4.8 rebounds, which is third on the team in both categories.

If you pay too much attention to Heidelberg's post players, senior Shelby Dearth is capable of making team's play. She is shooting 50 percent (17-of-34) from the three-point line. Her 34 attempts are a team-high, while senior Allie Hawkins (28 percent) and junior Maggie Davault (32 percent) are attempting 25 three-pointers each.
