(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their athletes of the week this afternoon and Quakers junior Domenic Farley was named the Men's Basketball Player of the Week after his performance in their win at #4 University of Mount Union Saturday afternoon. This is the first time Farley has earned this honor in his career, and he is the first Quakers men's basketball player since Jeffery Mansfield in 2022 to be named conference player of the week. He is also the first one under second-year head coach Micah Mills to be named player of the week.

Mills had this to say about his rising star, "Dom took the challenge we gave him this offseason to heart. His conditioning, his strength, and his defensive improvements have all led to his overall confidence. He takes coaching and wants to be a great teammate! I'm excited to see him keep working!"

Farley had a great game in their 80-79 upset of the Purple Raiders on Saturday. He scored a career-high 24 points, grabbed a career-high eight rebounds, and dished out six assists. Farley was 9-19 from the field, 2-5 from beyond the arc and 4-4 at the free throw line. He was also crucial in helping the Quakers make a late push, scoring four of the team's final six points to complete the comeback and seal the victory.

Farley and the Quakers men's basketball team return to Hermann Court Saturday afternoon for their first OAC home game of the season against the Marietta College Pioneers at 2:00 P.M. The Pioneers are currently ranked as the #19 team in Division III men's basketball.
