(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced their athletes of the week Monday afternoon, and for the second time this season and in his career, Quakers senior quarterback Derek Larimer has been named the OAC Offensive Player of the Week. His first honor came on September 25th, after Larimer threw six touchdowns against the Capital University Comets.

He bested that effort and then some on Saturday at Muskingum University. Despite a 64-63 loss, Larimer went 35-52 through the air, with 482 passing yards and a program record nine touchdown passes. The nine touchdowns also tie him with Ohio Northern's Joe Zarlinga for the most touchdown passes in a single game in OAC history.

His 482 passing yards are third in Quakers program history for a single game, while his 35 completions tie for third in program history for a single game. Larimer threw a touchdown to all six of the receivers he passed to in the game, with Lathan Jones (3) and Saa'lih Muhammed (2) catching multiple touchdowns during the contest.

Larimer looks to set the Quakers single-season program record for touchdown passes in the final game of the season, as he is tied with Adam Ryan (1999) at 34. Wilmington hosts the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears Saturday afternoon at Williams Stadium with a 2:00 P.M. kickoff.
