Football Buries Otterbein with Balanced Offensive Attack

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Wilmington College football team scored three times through the air and four times on the ground as the Otterbein Cardinal's defense could not slow the Quakers down. Wilmington won by a final score of 47-21.

Offense

  • Derek Larimer completed 19-44 passing attempts for 265 yards and three touchdowns
  • Lathan Jones scored a touchdown to go with his two receptions for 44 yards
  • Kaleb Easley had six receptions for a team high 72 recieving yards
  • Ben Hobbs got in on the air attack with a recieving touchdown of his own
  • Nehemiah Jenkins had 22 rushing attempts for 118 yards - his second time eclipsing the 100 yard mark this season

Defense

The Quakers will be back in action Saturday, September 23 at 7:00 in Williams Stadium to take on the Capital Comets in a Homecoming matchup.
