Hamm paces DubC_XCTR women at Eagle Invite

WARRENVILLE, IL- The Wilmington College women's cross country team competed at the Benedictine University Eagle Invitational on Friday afternoon. Three freshmen and one sophomore represented the Fightin' Quakers at the invitational, taking on their first-ever collegiate 6K race.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Freshman McKenzie Hamm (Blanchester, OH/Blanchester) led the way for the Fightin' Quakers. She posted a 26:53.0 to earn 95th-place.

  • Fellow freshman Summer Doty (North Lewisburg, OH/Triad) finished right behind, earning 96th-place with a time of 25:57.3.

  • Freshman Kelly Rice (Whitehouse, OH/Anthony Wayne) crossed the finish line third for the Fightin' Quakers, earning 119th-place with a time of 28:03.4.

  • The final Fightin' Quaker to complete the course was sophomore Kayla Thornberry. She ran in for 138th-place with a time of 29:33.9.
