WILMINGTON, Ohio - Wilmington College women's track & field senior Lauren Stacy has qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships in the weight throw.
Stacy, the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) champion in the weight throw, will be seeded 14th, with a distance of 17.33-meters, for the championships in Birmingham, Alabama, this weekend.
"Lauren [Stacy] has worked extremely hard and the opportunity to compete on a national stage is well deserved," Assistant Track & Field Coach Wayne Stacy, who coaches the Fightin' Quakers' throwers, said. "We are all looking forward to big throws on Friday."
The women's weight throw is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. (CST) on Friday, March 9.
