CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – The Wilmington College women's lacrosse team fell to Thomas More, 13-6, Wednesday in non-conference action at BB&T Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Abby Jude (Lancaster, OH/Fairfield Union) was the only WC player with multiple goals, tallying two of the team's six markers.
- Seniors Stephanie Belz (Gahanna, OH/Lincoln) and Rachel Routzong (Urbana, OH/Urbana), along with junior Nikki Northern (Dayton, OH/Chaminade Julienne) and sophomore Becca Petra (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota East) scored.
- Thomas More launched 42 shots, 26 of which were on goal, while WC was limited to just 18 shots, 11 on goal.
- Wilmington was 0-for-2 on its free position shot attempts, while the Saints were 5-for-9.
- Senior Katie Bennett, 2-6, (Newport, OH/Frontier) made 13 saves on 26 shots.

Wilmington (2-6) hosts Hanover Tuesday in non-conference action.
