WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's basketball team travels to Ohio Northern University (ONU) for an 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday evening.

The Teams: Wilmington and Ohio Northern. The Fightin' Quakers are 10-6 overall as well as 6-4 in the OAC after a heartbreaking 86-84 loss at the University of Mount Union on Saturday. The Polar Bears are 4-13 on the season and 0-10 in the conference after falling 102-49 at home to Capital University on Wednesday.

The Coaches: K.C. Hunt is in his 12th season as head coach of Wilmington's men's basketball program. Hunt, who has coached two All-Americans and seven of the school's 1,000-point scorers, led the Quakers to OAC Tournament titles in 2010 and 2014. He garnered Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year honors for guiding Wilmington to OAC Tournament title and a win in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2010. Rich Bensman is in his third season as ONU's head men's basketball coach. The Polar Bears finished as runner-up in the 2018 OAC Tournament last season.

The Players: A trio of Quakers – DaeShawn Jackson, Kevin Lewis and Will Patrick – all score in double figures with Jackson leading the bunch at 16.8 points per game. Lewis, who scored 15.5 points per contest, leads the team on the boards with 5.9 rebounds a game while Abdul Kanu also grabs over four rebounds per game. Both Jackson and Payton Smith dish out over assists per game. Lewis is also the OAC's leader in steals per game at 2.2 per game. Ryan Bruns leads the Polar Bears in scoring (20.2 points per game) and rebounding (8.4 boards per contest). Daniel Donner and Austin Allemeier both score between 9-10 points per game for ONU.
