KEVIN LEWIS DUNK IN OVERTIME WIN VS. BALDWIN WALLACE

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Wilmington College men's basketball senior Kevin Lewis has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for events played from Jan. 7-13.

The Cincinnati, Ohio, native averaged 20 points and a 66.7 field goal percentage (16-of-24) in leading the Fightin' Quakers to victories at Otterbein University 104-75 and vs. Baldwin Wallace University (BW) 79-77 in overtime. Lewis, who is garnering this honor for the first time in his career, led all scorers with 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting in the win over Otterbein and followed up with a 19-point, eight-rebound performance against BW. The win over the Yellow Jackets was Wilmington's first in four seasons.

"Kevin [Lewis] had a great week, but that is nothing new for him," Head Men's Basketball Coach K.C. Hunt said. "His consistent level of high play has been an important part of our team success thus far this season."

Wilmington (9-5, 5-3 OAC) concludes the first half of conference play by hosting Muskingum University at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
