@DubC_Volleyball loses to MSJ

CINCINNATI - The Wilmington College volleyball team fell to Mount St. Joseph University Wednesday in straight sets, 25-18, 25-19, 25-12, in non-conference action

 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Wilmington had more errors than kills in the first set, eight kills with 14 errors on 39 attempts.
  • Finished with 14 kills on 55 attempts and nine errors over the final three sets.
  • Senior Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) tied for the team-high with five kills and led the team with 14 assists. One of two players with a positive hitting percentage as freshman Rheanna McClain (Columbus, OH/Hamilton Township) finished with four kills on 15 attempts and one error.
  • Junior Catlin Pauley (Kenton, OH/Riverdale) added five kills and sophomore Kennedy Harshaw (Xenia, OH/Xenia) finished with four.
  • Sophomore Becca Harting (Farmersville, OH/Valley View) had a team-high 10 digs.

WHAT'S NEXT
Wilmington (0-10) travels to Lexington, KY 7 p.m. Friday to play Transylvania.
