Schirmer Wins Match for Wrestling at Gator Boot Duals

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Wilmington College wrestling team competed at the Gator Boot Duals hosted by Luther College (Iowa) on Saturday. The Fightin' Quakers were defeated by Concordia University of Wisconsin 52-6 and shutout by Manchester University (Indiana) and Millikin University (Illinois).

Clayton Schirmer was the lone individual to win a match for the Quakers, triumphing via pin at the 157-pound weight class over the Falcons.

Wilmington opens the 2020 calendar year at the Golden Eagles Duals at New Philadelphia High School on Jan. 11.
