WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team back in action this weekend as they head south for the winter tournament. McGavok High School is the host site located in Nashville, Tennessee. The tournament will begin at 8 a.m.
The Teams: Wilmington College is one of fourteen institutions competing this weekend. They will be taking on Wisconsin Concordia from the Northern Athletic Conference, Manchester University form the Heartland, and Millikin University of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).
8 a.m. - Wisconsin Concordia
11:30 a.m. - Manchester University
3 p.m. - Millikin University
The Coach: Justin Kihn is in his second season as Wilmington's head wrestling coach. A 2016 graduate of Heidelberg, Kihn finished fourth nationally in the 141-pound weight class and earned All-American honors as a senior. Kihn is currently 0-2 in the OAC and placed 13th in their last tournament.
The Players: Wilmington will be sending nine individuals to wrestle in eight different weight classes - CJ Fox (133-pound), Adrian Salamone (141-pound), Clayton Schirmer (157-pound), Patrick Kelley (157-pound), Jaymon Flaugher (165-pond), Brennen Greene (165-pount), Spencer Dukes (174-pound), Arthur Yah (184-pound) , Bruno Pattison (197-pound), Seth Jermer (285-pound)
